If anyone (almly) wants to know. Morales -210 at MGM and Mandalay. No line on Larios, Marquez, or Calderon. If anyone spots a line on Pavlik-Thompson at -330 or so, GRAB IT! Thompson is going to get deconstructed in this one.

Thanx buddy. I was really interested in what he'd open at Mandalay. I was hoping for like a -125. I would have to make the trip if he came out like that.

Yea, I recall you mentioning that. Actually, in spite of Casamajor's skill and pedigree, this line , IMHO, isn't really too far out of whack. The more we cap, bet, discuss these fights, I feel the big guy/smaller guy thing along with height and reach can be quite telling. By bigger man I mean generally larger frame/broader shoulders; ability to deliver more powerful punches and get better leverage on them. Of course speed is always important, but if the punches are'nt packing too much of a wallop, I'm not sure. Toughness and determination in this one make me like Castillo. I know about Casamajor and the bycycle/pig story and his defection from Cuba. I truly like Joel and met him briefly. If Castillo can box with Mayweather, a VERY elusive dude, he may find his target versus Joel. I'm betting on it.

I believe Castillo knocks out Casamayor in the late rounds...Can i bet on that happening here in Vegas?

Also, Frank when are we gonna catch some fights together?? I believe I had been chatting with you at a different site previously...Do you still have my phone number or email address?

Now that you mention it, I believe we did communicate
a while back. When you are just north of 50 yrs. old as I am, things get harder and harder to recall. We can see about catching some fights.

I really like Castillo here. Casamayor was out boxed by Corrales, who i really love, but he isnt close to the level a boxer as Castillo... I am just a bit worried though after watching Morales get outboxed by Barerra. Makes you think twice. This could be another close one.

This is almost as good a feeling as I get on a fight. Pretty much as strong as the Gatti vs Dorin feeling. If Castillo loses this fight I seriously might stop trying to call fights. Theres no point really - if my big plays lose.

Franks, if you see that ***** dip any lower than -150 anywhere would you let me know? I've got 5k on standby in the house and have already told the dog sitter that I might need her this weekend.

I plan on taking a run in today. I'll probably just stop at Mandalay. Then again, MGM does hang up boxing lines more than most places. I'll relay anything I find out. Yesterday on the local radio station, Al Bernstein has Dan Birmingham on the show and they are discussing Lacy/Sheika and after that Al asks Dan who he likes in Castillo/Casamajor and he says Casamajor based on boxing skills and elusivness. I too feel Castillo can hurt Joel, but I just got lumped on Morales loss and I guess I'm bitching up now. Not so sure anymore. Still lean towards Castillo, but not loving it.

I dont think he's all that elusive. Freitas and Corrales knocked him down and he was dropped in his last fight against Seda. And I thought he lost the fight with Campbell. However, the guy does fight tough opposition so you have to take that into effect also. Actually, he probably has fought some of the best competition out of anyone in the game. And I guess that his camp feels pretty confident about beeing able to win this fighit. However I dont see it. Also, he has never fought before at 135. So I guess the real question is will Castillo have a hard time catching him. I dont think it will be a problem.

Birmingham did pick Tszyu over Mitchell though.

We need some Cubano drug lords from Miami to lay some dough on theyre boy.

I hear a bunch of people always talking about how good they think Casamayor is. Heres a chance to make some money off him.

Doesnt seem like the books are all that eager to put Jirov vs Moore up. The fights in 8 days.

But they can put a line up for Marquez vs Pacquiao which isnt til Feburary.

been coasting around the net....and i`ve had trouble finding any casamayor money.......

again i ask joey, are you praying for casamayor?.....because,i see little to no casamayor sentiment on the forums.....

styles make fights..lazcano was right there for castillo...he had trouble with stevie johnston and mayweather...and was stopped twice by capapble, but limited javier jauregui......

but,i see why people like castillo...casamayor looks to be slipping...he`s been much easier to figure out recently...tends to stay in the pocket more......i actually read that he`s gonna fight castillo like a mexican....bad idea.....

but, this is far from the best wager on the board today,imo...

if these lines move a little more,i might help joey out a little...

I've seen just a tad of Casamayor money at Pinny and 5dimes. The line will drop 10 points from like -180 to -170 but then go back up again. Well I'm big on Castillo. I think hes going to beat him up. I really need this play.
